Fatal Mistake (Fatal, #6)
A critical error.

While Sam digs through clues, her husband, U.S. Senator Nick Cappuano, fights for his political life in the final days of his reelection campaign as financial irregularities threaten his future. It's a distraction Nick can ill afford with Sam in the midst of another high-profile murder investigation and both of them trying to help their adopted son, Scotty, cope with the murder of a ball player he admired.

Determined to bring the killer to justice, Sam must root out the truth before another mistake proves fatal.

Review:
I just love Sam so much that I miss this couple! Yet again, Sam save the crime! Sam is solving the murder of star athlete. There were so many twists and turns that makes me wonder how much scandal these stars have. Sam has so many motives and suspect that makes her frustrated. But no worry, Nick is there to calm her down. Oh, Nick gets more and more hot as the series progress. Nick gets a huge opportunity that it will shock everyone. I am not going to spoiler it, so you need to read it NOW! Nick and Sam finally adopt Scotty, who is the cutest little boy ever! Scotty has some trouble during school but handles it when he has a police officer as a mother. It was soo adorable when Sam was trying Scotty how to look mean. Plus, it was sooo funny when Scotty ask Nick what blowjob meant! I laugh so hard when I read Scotty reaction when Nick told him what it meant. Meanwhile, we get to read about Sam other colleague in the novel that one of her detective are facing with custody battle soon enough. Also, we finally get to see Stahl get into trouble that everyone will be justice. P.S. we get to read this very hot and sexy scene between Nick and Sam that it will make everyone hot!
