Review: Keeping Score by Sara Rider

From Sara Rider, a fresh new voice in contemporary romance, Keeping Score is a fast-paced, sizzling sequel in the Perfect Play series that’ll leave everyone needing a cool down...

Professional soccer player Jaime Chen is used to hearing the word “no”—she’s just not used to listening to it. Despite her tiny frame, she’s won two Olympic medals and earned the title of Assistant Captain of the Seattle Falcons. And when Sport Fitness magazine decides it wants her for the cover of its annual Bodies of Sport issue, she finally has the chance to prove to the world that she truly is a top-class athlete. But when a lingering ankle injury forces the team’s physiotherapist to bench her, Jaime’s top-ranking dreams start to slip through her fingers.

In his career as a pro sports physiotherapist, Alex Martinez’s instincts have never steered him wrong. But he’s also never met someone as obstinate and frustrating as the snarky Jaime Chen. With their spot in the playoffs on the line, the Falcons’ owner gives him an ultimatum: get Jaime back in the game or kiss his job goodbye. When she skips yet another appointment with him, the only way he can wrangle a diagnosis from the medically-phobic midfielder is to stick to her like a shadow. But getting close to the woman who simultaneously irritates him and turns him on like no other is the last thing he wants to do.

Review:
Who else is excited about Sara Rider releasing another book in the Perfect Play series? Cause I certainly am. I always been a huge fan of Sara Rider Perfect Play series that I jumped in joy when Sara Rider release a new book of the series, Keeping Score.
Keeping Score is the second book in the Perfect Play series which we will get to see Jamie fall over heels which it is going to be amazing. Jamie is part of the glue in women soccer team that everyone counts on her. But it does a toll on her that she is starting to get stressed out especially with her current sport injury. And it does not help that her team doctor keeps trying to dig more into her medical history in order to diagnosis her condition. Alex has always been great at his job that he goes out of the mile in helping his clients until he met Jamie. Jamie is becoming the most frustrating client for Alex because she is very relent in working her injury recovery.
Jamie is the best friend to have because she will always have your back no matter what. I definitely admire her character but I also felt sorry how tough her childhood was that she needs to let go little especially around the sexy team doctor. Alex is always committed in helping other but sometimes he needs to know that he can't always save them afterall. Jamie and Alex may be opposite from each other but when they are together, it is explosive. They have hot chemistry between each other that it makes the read so hot!
But it is not always sunshine whenever a couple start, there will be some challenges. But these challenges will define what they are meant for each other.
Keeping Score is another fantastic read that you will need to read ASAP since you will love the cute yet romantic scenes.
Five Stars!

Blog Tour: Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan

About the book:
Hang on to your Stetsons this summer, because you’re in for one wild ride! Get lost in the second installment of New York Timesbestselling author Harper Sloan’s Coming Home series, KISS MY BOOTS. In the second installment, the wildest Davis of them all is looking for love…maybe.
Quinn Davis prefers to live her life quietly. She’s the stereotypical tomboy with two overprotective big brothers who have always looked out for her. Of course, it doesn’t help that her heart has already been hardened when it comes to devilishly handsome cowboys with silver tongues. That is, until Tate Montgomery comes riding back into town. Their first meeting, however, is far from something out of a fairy tale and only further convinces Quinn that men aren’t worth her time.
Growing up, the one time Tate ever truly felt at home was during the long, sweltering summer months he spent at his gram and paw’s farm in Pine Oak, Texas. Now, Tate has returned to his childhood sanctuary seeking a fresh sta…
